As a quick refresher, macronutrients are the building blocks that add up to make calories. For instance, carbohydrates and protein are 4 calories per gram, alcohol is 7 calories per gram, and fat is 9 calories per gram.


What I love most about macronutrients and calories is that it’s all science, Baby!
